Richard Kiel, American ex-cemetery plot salesman is a human skyscraper, towering over Dr. Miguelito Loveless (Michael Dunn) with a monumental height of 7 feet 2 inches.

Before landing on his size 16 shod feet with his first acting role in the TV series 'Klondike' for producer William Conrad, Richard held down a variety of jobs - including working as a nightclub bouncer and washing machine repair man.

After playing half-demented killers in numerous TV series, such as 'The Rifleman', 'Gilligan's Island', 'I Spy', and 'The Barbary Coast', Richard's first screen role came in 1961 when he played a caveman in EEGAH. Amongst the twenty-odd films with Richard has subsequently made, he has notched up important screen credits with THE HUMAN DUPLICATORS, SKIDOO (for Otto Preminger with Jackie Gleason, Carol Channing, Mickey Rooney and Groucho Marx) and THE LONGEST YARD, playing a fellow convict of Burt Reynolds.

After completing work on THE SILVER STREAK with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder, Richard went on to play a memorable role as Jaws in Albert Broccoli's THE SPY WHO LOVED ME.
Richard's impressive 86 inches are balanced by his weight of 335 lbs., a size 17EEE shoe, a 19 inch collar sized shirt - and supported by five good meals a day.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, on December 13, 1939, Richard moved with his family to Los Angeles at the age of eight. He had already grown to 86 inches by the age of 17, and was understandably a popular member of the school football team. His aunt (a film buff) propelled him into acting. While making THE LONGEST YARD, he met wife-to-be Diane, who is 5'1" tall at age 18.

His television appearances include: THRILLER, THE NIGHT STALKER, SUPERBOY, THE MAN FROM UNCLE, THE RIFLEMAN, THE TWILIGHT ZONE, THE HARDY BOYS MYSTERIES, HONEY WEST, I SPY and GILLIGAN'S ISLAND.

In addition to his flourishing acting career, Richard Kiel is a successful businessman with a real estate company in Los Angeles. He and his wife, Diane, have a son - Richard George Kiel.
