Roy Engel had a career in radio. He appeared on radio's THE WHISTLER and played the title role on SKY KING. He made his film debut as a police captain in D.O.A. (1949) and made over 60 films since. His television credits include DEATH VALLEY DAYS, BONANZA, THE F.B.I., THE WILD WILD WEST and THE VIRGINIAN. He died at the age 67 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank in 1981. He is survived by wife and daughter.
